Ten44 Productions

“telling stories and preserving memories”

Ten44 Productions had its beginning in 1999, when the father and son combination of Jerry and Josh Hawn shot the documentary “Before Voices Fade Away”.  It is the story of World War II veterans of their home town of Farmer City, Illinois. The video was broadcast on WILL, the PBS affiliate at the University of Illinois, on Memorial Day 2000.

The company was originally called InSight Productions, but went through a name change in 2003 to distinguish it from other similar-named companies.

The founder’s wives, Judy and Andrea, along with other talented personnel have played an important role in the operation and development of the company.

Cameras and equipment have been carefully chosen to take advantage of breakthroughs in technology.  The completely digital system is composed of professional grade cameras, microphones, computers, software, and other components.

To stay creatively fresh, the company has not limited itself to any one genre of video. Local projects have included: weddings, love stories, reception montages, church and mission videos, birthday and anniversary montages, sports videos, dance recitals, graduations, queen pageants, school events, concerts, documentaries, and other events.

From 2003-2006 it produced the weekly TV show “Hunts To Remember” which has aired on the Sportsman Channel.  During that time the company made numerous commercials for companies that sponsored the show.  In 2007-8 another fine outdoor show was produced – “Trails N Traditions”.

Ten44 Productions is a company dedicated to excellence and to serving the client.  They would like to help you tell a story or preserve a memory.
